Therapy for back pain
On the following page, we present our physiotherapy services and comprehensive range of therapies. We would like to give you a detailed insight into our services and show you how we can support you on your path to greater mobility, freedom from pain, and improved quality of life.
Physiotherapy offers a variety of proven methods to specifically treat functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system, alleviate discomfort and sustainably improve physical performance.
The following treatment options are available at our practice.
Krankengymnastik
Therapeutic exercise is a form of physiotherapy that uses targeted exercises to improve mobility, muscle strength, coordination and posture.
It is used, for example, after injuries, operations or in cases of chronic conditions, to relieve pain, restore the function of the musculoskeletal system and facilitate everyday movements.
The exercises are individually tailored to the patient and can be performed actively (with movement) or passively (e.g. with the help of the therapist).
High-voltage therapy
The high electrical voltage (driving force) achieves a strong deep effect in the tissue. This effect can be further enhanced by using a smaller cathode (stimulation electrode) – it concentrates the stimulus on a smaller area.
The extremely short current flow time and the negative counter-oscillator ensure that there is no risk of tissue damage (necrosis).
Effect of the treatment:
- Pain-relieving
- Promotes blood circulation
- Detonizing (reduces increased muscle tension)
Iontophorese
Iontophoresis is a medical procedure in which drugs are selectively introduced into the underlying tissue through the skin using a weak direct electric current.
Typical applications include acute pain conditions where the active ingredient needs to reach deeper tissue layers or directly into a joint. This method is particularly suitable for patient-controlled, non-invasive pain management.
Cryotherapy
In cases of inflammatory and traumatic conditions, reactive hyperemia (increased blood flow) provides effective relief. This is achieved through our cryotherapy, which uses cold air at approximately -30 degrees Celsius.
Many patients report impressive, spontaneous pain relief during treatment. The increased blood flow supports and activates the body's natural self-healing processes.
Cybex Training
The training is based on the principle of self-stabilization and adapts individually to the trainee's abilities. The intensity of the training depends on the individual's capacity for self-stabilization.
This is made possible by a special seat design that allows for a completely different training position than conventional weight machines. Some of the exercises are performed in a semi-standing position, which increases metabolic activity compared to classic training.
